Matt Foulkes
FARM & Equine VET
Matt has worked in rural veterinary practice since 2011 and has been based in the Herefordshire & Powys borders region for the majority of that time. Over this period, he has become increasingly drawn to the benefits of a proactive health planning approach to farm veterinary work.
One of the main inspirations for starting his own business was the realisation that a huge driver for efficient animal production i.e. nutrition in the form of high-quality grazed grass, was a topic often missing from his discussions with farmers.
Matt has a particular interest in diseases caused by parasites and sees a big opportunity for their control to be integrated into pasture management planning.
Gareth Davies
Grassland Advisor
Gareth is an experienced, independent grassland advisor. Having previously worked for Genus, Gareth completed a Nuffield Farming Scholarship in 2012, with a focus on pasture yield and utilisation.
Gareth has worked independently ever since, helping farmers maximise outputs from grazing systems on growing numbers of livestock enterprises across the UK and Ireland.
A farmer's son himself, Gareth still keeps cattle and sheep, so he knows his advice works through practical experience. He believes in keeping things simple and is passionate about grass!
